Thank you for this invitation to answer and clear-up the WBS meaning in the Project Management. I think my colleagues answers illustrated properly the Work Breakdown Structure in the Project  Management . The Work Structure of the project is normally divided to the many portions and sections to get more managed and controlled in the execution and deliverable. Creation of many divisions in the work frame with good co-ordination each other will get the best results into the implementation for all phases of the Project Management.

W.B.S IS WORK BREAK DOWN STRUCTURE . IS TO DIVIDE THE PROJECT INTO DIFFERENT SECTIONS TO MONITOR AND ARRANGE ACTIVITIES , IT IS MORE OR LESS CONTROLLING THE PROJECT INTO DIVISIONS BY THE CONCERNED PARTIES

WBS is a terminology used in project management which means "work breakdown structure" or in other words "work broken down into smaller activities and arranged in proper sequence to form a structured work, each of these smaller activities measurable in time 

It is a logical breakdown of large tasks into smaller executable and measurable sets of works delegated to specialized man power and controlled within a predefined set of specifications, time and cost.
