Yes. Word of mouth has been traditionally one of the best ways to market your product.

Where's the question? :)

OF COURSE!!

Yes, I do. The negative influence is far more than the positive ones in the case of Word mouth/family/friend advice. One of the best examples in the recent past is that of Nestle. When the Government of India banned Maggi Noodles stating health reasons, the sales dropped hugely within days. The main reason was that people started panicking and conveyed the same to their circles. The important thing to be noted is that people tend to rely upon other people's experiences most times.

Consider WOM as one marketing channel among others such as TV, social, retail etc.

Each channel is as effective as it can be measured. Can you measure the effectiveness of WOM? If you can and compare it with other channels, sure use it. Otherwise, don't just rely on WOM, use other channels as well.

Yes, in fact WOM is a powerful tool that could shape buying behavior. People tend to promote a product they bought and are satisfied with; this is a self reassuring step designed to value the choice of a product vs another one. So yes if consumers are happy after they experience a product/service they immediately enter into this phase of promoting their purchase showing all features and benefits they get from it.

Of course, there are many researches out there supporting the power of Word Of Mouth (WOM) on the customer decision making. The word of mouth is the most powerful marketing tool that can either impact the company postively or negatively according to the expernce of the customer.

MOST IMPORTAN IS 100% TOTAL AND REAL INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE AND GOOD ASSISTANCE.

I'm certainly with the power of word of mouth,  only your word of mouth can make the produce more better than it is or worse, so as a marketeer should be eclectic in their words
