Why people use a fake profile in companies and on individual level?

Fake profiles and also we can say modified , exaggerated profiles.

 

Normally people use fake profile in social media, websites  because of below reasons.

# To attract other half of audience,

# To hide himself or herself from own people.

# To get engaged in unethical works , immoral activities , what they feel not acceptable in society.

 

Using fake profile  in companies  is not common , We can say people use modified profile , exaggerated profiles in a company just to impress the concerned person. They feel that using actual profile will not attract that company.

I agree with Mr. Asif Eqwal's excellent submission. In addition to that; pyschologically humans are born with instincts of wanting to control everything & wamting to be the best, recognised & appreciated, this motive may force or drive them into having fake or exaggerated profiles. Secondly; desire to explout opportunities or loop-holes in systems or business & social entities is yet another motive that may drive people into having fake or exaggerated profiles thus as long as they get the opportunity the rest doesn't matter much. Fake profiles is the reflection of his/her moral habit....................................................

Perhaps because there is something they want to hide it or because their personality is not balanced and suffer from some mental illness.
