The starting point naturally is the Value proposition. In order to reach Value proposition one has to understand the existence of the opportunity. The synergy between you as a person or organisation who can implement the opportunity is a crucial element. Even if the opportunity exists, and the synergy between you and the opportunity is not there, then the probability of the success is limited.
Next comes the stage of identifying the value element in your product or service suitable to market and its delivery mechanism. Cost of doing business is always the last element to be tinkered.
