As a Manager, it is very Important to involve your team from day one, starting from general discussions over the project. To achieve a goal/Target it is very important that you and your team members share the same vision and path to reach or achieve it. I suppose, as a Manager it is very important as my part to have discussions and also to have their thoughts visualized and to understand what my team member individually thinks and plans to work. With group discussions, it becomes very clear to penetrate a common vision to achieve the target, as all will have a predefined roadmap to follow and everyone has a role to play in it, within their capabilities, assigned finally by the Manager.

As a Manager, it is very important for him to push the capabilities of each team members, rather than defining them the path to follow. With involvement of  your team members, from ground Zero, it helps each members to express their thoughts and vision over the project. After thorough discussion, the team members can work positively in attaining their roles as individually each member  knows of his commitment  along with having the responsibility to perform for his group/team he is representing.

It is very important for a Manager to see that his team member discuss every aspect of execution, and with their involvement in discussion and opinion, it boosts their mental capabilities and commitment towards their profile. With growth of our team members, from discussion to decision making, is the success to achieve the targets, which is the success of the company and I presume that defines even the role of myself as a Manager, towards my commitment towards the growth of my company.

The secret to making decisions effectively is to be able to achieve a balance between these extremes—not too reliant on the opinions of others, but respectful of any feedback that team members give.

Here is a guideline: /% of the time, ask for input;% of the time get a sense of the situation, make the decision, present it to the people involved, and ask for their support
