CELTA and TESOL both refer to English Teaching to speakers of other languages; however, CELTA is a specific course and qualifcation awarded by Cambridge English Language Assessment and suppose to be more prestigious and esily recognized. On the other hand, some TESOL courses are meeting or even exceeding the standards of CELTA certification. By choosing a TESOL course a prospective student must pay attention to the body who awards the certificate as it must be accredeted and recognized organization.
