The simplest definition for difference between Accounting and Finance is that, Accounting is a method to record business transaction according to principals. Whereas, finance profession deals to improve wealth/ assets or share value.

Hello Zahir,

 

Accounting means recording of transactions so that the transactions are mesured, analysed and interpreted. where as finance means using the information from the accounting so that the assests and liablities are used efficirnt and effectively and also to make decisions.

the purpose of accounting is to record the day to day transactions and also for tax purpose where as finance purpose is to forecast the business performance based on the data available throi\ugh accounting.
