There have been several prototypes of headphones that claim they can translate foreign languages in real-time.
Do you think this technology will be helpful or will it affect our perceived need to learn new languages or even be proficient in certain languages?
I think so , nothing is impossible with technology . using Artificial Intelligence Algorithms
i think it just need Clear Voice with Stored Words (Keywords) and Complex Dictionary DB
Nothing is impossible :)
For me there should be a balance between technologies and human feelings and creativity. There could be good enough headphones that can make quick translations but I doubt if they can translate perfectly.
