Updates are: Notifications may be a new way / placement for ads, also Facebook will allow users to pay to promote their posts.
Thank you Salah, but users always complain about the new layouts / features that Facebook is doing, also users are used to see Ads on RH & newsfeed, what if they saw Sponsored Stories in the notification menu, or if they saw a promoted post from a user not a page.
Well, Facebook has been developing ever since it was created and people always responded the same way; they complained at first then got used to it and moved on with their lives and then another update rolls out, whither it was a new layout or a new feature people are a bit resultant to new stuff at first, it's just the human nature I guess but eventually we grow fond of these new features and adapt to them... So no, I don't think Facebook will be irritating.
