yes it happens when the manager is incompetent , because a competent manager will change his attitude with you when you do a good job, so just be good and you will be the boss :)

with the incompetent manager, it's a big issue ,  it is advisable not to argue with him at all, because the more you argue the more he is stubborn and he will be detsermined to  make your life become a nightmare , he will  be jealous of  you  being better than him,  because he knows that he is incompetent and this makes him complexed and frustrated :))

So  just do your job as best as you can and  ignore him , be patient, for sure one day he  will leave , incompetent people always fall down

As for my worst, I wouldn't say I've had any 'worst' bosses, but I've worked with very tough managers with very different working and communication styles. I have to say I have learned the most through working with them how to interact with different types of people.

Be careful answering questions about previous managers. You don't want to come across as difficult, and you want to cast any past experiences in the most positive light possible.

·         I had a rocky start with a manager once, because we had different expectations for the flow of the workday. Once we talked about it, we realized that our goals were very compatible, and we were able to work very successfully together for several years.

·         I have found that if I take the time to talk with my manager at the beginning of a project, we can all get off to a great start on the same page.

·         I would say that I have never really had a problem working with anyone. I try to find our common ground, and get along with everyone's different personality.

Rarely, I would say that it might depend on the personality and competences of the person as well.

No, the time I sharing it  with my Manager is that the hours were productive, and not just the result of poor time management

If complied with the disciplinary rules, it will be an easy interaction with the Director, simply: do your duties preserve your rights
