This would all depend on the job itself, as you would need to consider the responsibilities and accountabilities, then moving to find the best practice in the job (be aware of any bad habits carried by others). At this stage you would be able to get into mastering the job you have, which in my opinion would be you priority, prior to advance into any other passionate idea, this would not make you look dull when you ask inappropriate question or suggest an already answered question/suggestion.

they are common skills  like languages , computer and internet skills , communication skills , analytical skills , personal qualities , diversity skills , reporting skills , programming skills ,  research skills but you have to study the job you are applying for and select your skills accordingly
