How do you work when you know your supervisor is biased against you?

It is very difficult situation. You are introvert by natures. Your co workers socialise with your supervisor and create a wall that you cannot cross. More ever you do not drink alcohol. But people who do have formed an informal association. They boast about their feelings after a drink and say you cannot give your best if you do not drink on weekends. According to them you need to work hard and party hard. And while asking for your quota of leaves you are told . you are sober even on weekends. Why do you need leaves for. it is a depressing situation.

Find a new job because

a) you'll never be successful in that environment and

b) they aren't nice people, you don't want them in your life

Manage a difficult situation is extraordinary quality that some body gets by born or through experience. Someone should not expect everything will come easily. When you are in this situation it should not be wise for a quality worker like you thinking otherwise. You should concentrate more on your areas and continue work on it no matter who is biased against you? We should try our best and if it does not work than start to thinking options. I have seen number of people through out my long career tendered resignation for a silly matter although they were getting very good salary. And they were so confident on their capacity they did not think twice to resigned and simply because they did not accept little change on their TOR.
