Yes it is a deciding factor to a great extent. If you provide a great service to any customer, he will come back to you again and again for his banking needs.

Whereas if a customer is not satisfied with the service you provide he will choose some other bank.

Customer service and customer satisfaction plays a major role in retaining a customer, be it retail or corporate banking.
