Power Engineering covers all forms of power generation, including caol, gas nuclear and renewable. Since the distribution of power is electrical. it is associated with and under umbrella of electrical engineering. However, the generation of power is generally a mechanical process or operation, and so mostly a mechanical engineering is type of thing. The combination of these electro-mechanical operations is power engineering.
