Do you think the market now needs AutoCAD more than Revit or vice versa?

NO..I think the market needs both due to their limitations and advantages.

Revit was created mainly for structural designers and gains popularity in Architectural field, while AutoCAD finds usage in all fields .

Therefore, when considering a general purpose CAD, AutoCAD is the best. While Revit would be the choice in MAINLY structural designs.
