I have always thought that teaching is a gift and good teachers are gauged by the sucess of their students, not everyone learns at the same pace or degree of understanding. How is that measured depends on what stiffles, stumps or inhibits the student. Overcoming that sumbling block and giving the student the tools to move to the next thing is what seperates good teachers from the ordinary teacher.
the most important is to understand the nature of the product you are dealing with including characteristics and qualities.Also, you must be able to control,deliver.motivate and evaluate,you must get information about learning theories and their development over ages.you must be aware of the21st century skills.they are communication,collaboration,creativity,critical thinking and IT.Finally,you apply all that you have learnt besides others'experiences to make the mould of a successful teacher,
First of all, know your subject very well !
Patience is a must have, so you can assist and teach the students.
Psychology is very useful too, as you have to understand the people you deal with.
Pedagogy is the basis of your classes, as you will have to build your program according to the school expectation, as well as the students' level.
