How can we use technology to serve the society more?

Technology for the betterment to me means to reduce the time taken and cost of commodities and to develop newer and efficient ways .

Use of ethanol driven cars instead of deasel or petrol is one such example.

using gmos or gentically mutant organisms to reduce and clean up oil spills from the oceans is another.

that is the power of technology to save our environment from total degradation and making life worth living

althogh it is also a documented fact that industrialization leads to increase in pollution. But as long as the urge is there for betterment  all is not lost
