What ideas would you advice to improve customer service in serviced apartments? As a receptionist?

I recently got employed in the hotel industry in serviced apartments and I have been given the task to come up with ideas to improve customer service in as a receptionist any idea /advice will be highly appreciated. Also what are the duties of such a receptionist? Thanks.

Always be willing to assist each and every guest/person entering the premises. A welcoming smile will always be a way to show the guest how eager you are to assist them.

i can advise to improve customer service in serviced apartments is to always listent to the tenants,understanding what is there concern and find ways to comply and of course to always give a warm smile to the guest.

Actually when we talk of customer service there are those things or actions we do to clients till they feel satisfied. So as a receiptionist, the first thing that matters a lote is the character that is the manner of approach of the receptionist. Since the receptionist is the very first person who welcomes the client into the company. Your behavior assured the client whether to stay or to leave. Secondly at the reception there must be a mobile phone to constantly reach out to clients and also received calls coming into the company. there must be a laptop for answering and sending emails to clients. There must be a an accurate and a constant internet connection to permits the work flow. Customers must be entertain with tv and good flowing WiFi as they wait at the reception to be alter into their verious department. The reception must always be neat, attractive to reflect the appearance of the entire company. We can go as far as providing little entertaining service like juice, chewables so as to keep the customers alive. Equally there must be a very good security at the level of the reception which can be in the form of a person or a camera, so as to assure that customers valuables are save.

From your position, there isn’t much that can be done, except doing the best you can and as was mentioned before – doing surveys. But it is not only customer feedback you would want. Try and get advice (or study the behavior) from the best performing employees as well. Nothing bad in trying to adopt somebody else’s methods (if they are not copyrighted of course).
