In your Company, Do you prefer to be Loved or Respected by others?

I agree with the Ahmad AlHadeed.
I always try and try again to get respect from my employer, but they don't see.
But my supervisor and my co-workers respect me for the hard and smart work I do.
From this experience, I say it differs from one level to another in the company (management vs department).
Most probably it is because I am in a small company.

At work, to be effective, to persuade based on sound principles, to inspire others to follow, you need respect.
Perhaps, in time, respect can turn to love - but first is respect.
To have a clear conscience one needs to know that your decisions are based on the best basis, a respected basis, not because you demanded people love you or show loyalty.
