A transmittal is a project form used to control and track all project document communicated between the contractor and client.

A transmittal is a controlled cover sheet form/format which is used to submit drawings and documents between Client, Consultant, Engineer, Contractor, Program Manager, etc... for review, approval or for records. A transmitall usually highlights the attached document's Title, Numbe, Revision, Status and Stage.
