I started preparing my MSc research recently and a bit confused on choosing the right topic. The required topic area is "Innovation in the construction industry". Anyone has a suggestion on a good research topic?

Consider all aspects of the construction industry first, mindmap everything, the processes, the machinery, the services, etc.

then pick on to zoom in on it.

example is how does the job get done from zero to end (process) or how can you find the right supplier for a specific job (process). what about the tools used? the way the plan gets organized or the service provided by either the construction company or the project manager.

it all starts with a massive mindmap  :)
