I believe that Non-verbal communication isn't more powerful than verbal communication; it's justdifferent. However I think that sometimes, non-verbal communication can be more honest than verbal communication!

Definitely, I view that a true face, in which facial expression and body language give away nothing about what the individual thinks, feels, or might be about to do, is almost impossible to achieve. I personally studied behavioral analysis, negotiation, and mediation so certainly I can read people's non-verbal cues and come to a more complete and thorough awareness of what that person is truly experiencing than the person may be expressing in words! Truth

Therefore, we all need to be careful with this, though, because there are many ways that non-verbal communication can be misinterpreted. Unless we understand the cultural background of the person we're attempting to understand, we may misunderstand a particular gesture or facial expression. Even when we're from the same country and speak the same verbal language, we may be using slightly different non-verbal cues, depending on what region we're from.

However, when we interact with someone who shares our basic cultural framework, we can often get what feels like an intuitive understanding about someone's deeper motivations, including whether or not they're speaking the truth  and the whole truth, for that matter .
