How can I use social media efficiently to network with professionals and increase my chances of landing a great job?

I am actively using social media to seek job but i feel in here we need more of wasta to get hired.

Forums like LinkedIn and Bayt Specialties are great places to find and connect with like-minded professionals. It would always help to connect with people working in the same function as yourself and impressing them intrinsically with your articles, posts, questions and answers on shared threads. A more direct approach may be to let them know about your job movement ideas and share your CV to take it forward.

Well nowadays the recruitment & its benefits including the searching for a job through the media became more efficient , since all the world is using it instead of the old way .

Practically it is a fast way to forward your data and your information ,as i said through the media ( Facebook , LinkedIn , Etc, ..)

But in fact and real , no one will answer you Or will reply to you for no reason.

As for me i am trying this for more than3 years unfortunately no one took a simple notice in forwarding me an email by accepting or rejecting , all what you will receive is " your email have been received & will contact you if you are shortlisted " .

Media is only for advertisement & making money by advising you to take the Premium on each Media or site .And by the end of the story you won't get any answer and you will find your self lost .

Based on above i advise your good self to go through the old way and contact all your relatives, people , company ,who can lead you for a good & certain job

People who can you trust  and care about you and most important they should be serious .

In other way , you need what we called nowadays " Wasta in Arabic " to find a good job .

There are multiple professional network sites available where you can connect with professionals of different industry , vertical etc . you need to build your image by posting your domain expertise , your views about current trends and practices , you can also share your views about modern management practices. exchanging thoughts with the industry experts will also enhance your knowledge and skill set

In order to increase chances of employment through social media, use preferably LinkeIn.com, bayt.com and FB. Try to approach sector experet recruiters for possible opening. Do complete your online profile with all necessary details.  Effective networking plays a crucial role in likely hood of employment.
