Saudi Arabia's planned new health insurance system will oblige all companies to provide insurance cover to their employees and families. The new system will also allow working men to enjoy health insurance
The introduction of mandatory health insurance for all private-sector employees in Saudi Arabia had significant positive effects on the healthcare system and the economy. It shifted a large part of the population’s medical expenses from the government to private insurance companies, helping reduce the public financial burden and improve sustainability. As a result, access to healthcare services expanded, particularly for expatriate workers and their families, who previously relied on out-of-pocket payments. The policy also encouraged the growth of the private healthcare sector, leading to increased investment in hospitals, clinics, and insurance firms. Moreover, it promoted competition and service quality among healthcare providers while creating new employment opportunities in health administration and insurance management. Overall, this decision was a key step toward achieving Vision 2030 goals by enhancing efficiency, equity, and accessibility in the Saudi healthcare system.
Very good Decision, Employees will get Moral Courage to work. The Burden of Government and Private Employers are reduced much. Sir, in India, all vehicles including two Wheelers should be compulsarily Registered & Renewed regularly, according to our Law.
If it is like for Machines, why Humans beings should not be covered by Health Insurance. In my Opinion, not only Employees, all people should have Insurance Cover.
Increasing employment opportunities in a healthy environment
It will be a great decision as the nation promises equal healthcare service to all irrespective of nationality and it increases the chance of attracting expatriates to work for the country
In my opinion this decesion we be with a positive effects to all concerened parties as follows :-
1/ employees / obtain good job offer and contract hence have more incentive to production and adequate performance.
2/ employers / the above mentioned point will eventaually leads to increase in the enterprises or companies income and profit with now warry about burden of insurance cost.
3/ insurance companies / will benfit by writing more insurance policies hence generating more premium .i.e insurance companies premiun income will increase.
Regards.
