Accuracy     _ is   correctness of the data.

Precision    _  is  the consistency  of the data .

Accuray : ability of measurement to match the actual value being measured. The closer the measurement to a known value, the more accurate the measurement.

Precision : how close your experimental measurements agree with each other. The closer each measurement is to the other measurements the more precise the measurement.

Acurrey is how much you are close for the true value

precision we can consider it as acurrey of repeatability or how much repeated observation close to each others

first one need to know that no measurement is accurate we only have the most provable value or the expected value, with this one can say accuracy  is the closeness  of the data to the MPV,In GIS data, accuracy can be referred to a geographic position, but it can be referred also to attribute, or conceptual accuracy. Precision refers  to how exact is the description of data. Precise data may be inaccurate, also  precision in GIS can only be investigated by repeating the measurement with same instrument  and compering  consistency of results. measurement can have high level of precision but low level of accuracy

Precision is closeness of two or more measurements to each other. Accuracy is the difference between the measurement and the actual true value

Accurate  is close to real value (is correct)

Precision is repeating or repeatable.

In other words, accuracy describes the difference between the measurement and the part's actual value, while precision describes the variation you see when you measure the same part repeatedly with the same device.

accuracy is how far the observations from the true value.

precision is how close are the observations to each other.

if you are meant to measure or observe something and you got a number of this measurement for this object.

accuracy is just how far are the observations from the TRUE VALUE of the measured object

precision is how close are the observations to each other

so if the observations are close to each other and the difference between them are so little, so it's called "a very precision" observation and vice versa and if they are so close to the actual true value it's called "high accurate observation".

If the observations were so close to each other and so close to the true value, we can name it " a very accurate and precision observations"

Accuracy may be defined as how much an estimated / measured value is deviated from actual value.

Whereas,

precision is the measurement of deviation of the estimated / measured values from their mean.

Accuracy can be defined as the degree or closeness to which the information on a map matches the values in the real world. Therefore, when we refer to accuracy, we are talking about quality of data and about number of errors contained in a certain dataset. In GIS data, accuracy can be referred to a geographic position, but it can be referred also to attribute, or conceptual accuracy.

Precision refers how exact is the description of data. Precise data may be inaccurate, because it may be exactly described but inaccurately gathered.
