I am horrified to see "age" in question like this.   Prejudice and discrimination have no place in this forum, or anywhere else for that matter.

Age is not an indicator of job performance.  When I was a strapping lad of 25 I was once lifting some heavy things with a man of over 70.  After a while, he told me to stop "helping" and get out of his way.  He was a manual worker who had spent nearly 60 years lifting heavy things every day, while I was an office worker.  I say it again: age is not an indicator of job performance.

(Experience can be an indicator, and obviously people who are older are more likely to have more experience: however, it is the experience you are hiring, not the age.)

In some cultures, older people are regarded with greater respect. If that culture of respect is considered valuable, then it should be used to benefit the staff, customers and shareholders.  Nobody benefits from the over-hiring or over-promotion of any particular group.

The answer to the question is, of course, none of them.  The most important thing is character.

My Answer should be letter B, Because I believe that experience is the best teacher. I graduated as practical Nursing, but I work now in the field of Travel Industry as reservation officer, at first I did not know these will work, but based on my experience, where I learned more.

  • The person should not be over or under qualified.
  • Should have experience of 5-10 years for a senior level and 1-5 years for the junior level.
  • An experience in certain job role for more than 5-10 years would mane the employ is stuck in a certain job role. And could be over aged for the position.
