I’m preparing for my MBA admission  interview  and have compiled a list of questions from from several blogs and chatting with MBA friends. While most of the questions are pretty straightforward, I’m stumped by this question in a title above.  Truthfully, in my opinion, the most admired leader I have ever seen is my dad . He is a great leader who own  enormous leadership qualities. He amazed me by his willingness to help and do for other  people who never seen before  even he never  knows them. "I don't see myself being special; I just see myself having more responsibilities than the others. People look to me to do things for them, to have answers." My dad said. Likewise my dad is a responsive leader so people , subordinates, clients , partners, ..etc  can get accessibility to him in a timely manner and exhibit their requests and opinions freely. I appreciate that my dad is a humility leader  as such he doesn't ever thinking too much of oneself rather he is thinking of others. What I admire most is my dad's honesty , he always  telling the truth whatever poor the situation is and regardless of unintended consequences of his decisions ,for me he tells the truth all the time or instead in sensitive issues he does not telling anything at all. I also respect transparency of my dad, he always  being real in concepts and mindset every day and in every way. My dad is a great leader he built himself upon tenacity and he is standing strong through the storms of change and uncertainty in financial markets and secure success for his buineeses unstable global environment,  what really helps him to do is that he is a visionary  leader able to see beyond today. I admire my dad's trustworthiness too when he says "Yes is yes" and  "No is no". from my own view, My dad is an innovative leader , he continually  finds a new ways to do his businesses right , and doing projects  better than they’ve been previously done. On sum, My dad is compassionate father he  is thinking much of others as well he thinking of my career prospects post MBA and gives my ambitious to successful leader in future, now I  believe in "A great leader takes people where they want to go while admirable leader takes people where they don't necessarily want to go, but ought to be." Rosalynn Carter

For me absolutly dr Kazuo Inamori from Japan. I agree with his philosophy. I think that "take care of" employees, ensure their development, good communication, management based on real human relationships are a great way to success. Dr. Kazuo Inamori is for me a great authority. I'd love him to be an example for many ....Management Based on the Bonds of Human Minds

The Twelve Management Principles

1. Clearly state the purpose and mission of your business.     Set high objectives that are noble, just and fair. 2.   Set specific goals.     Once targets are set, share them with all employees. 3.   Keep a passionate desire in your heart.     Your desire must be strong and persistent to penetrate into your subconscious mind. 4.   Strive harder than anyone else.     Work steadily and diligently, one step at a time, never relenting in tedious tasks. 5.   Maximize revenues and minimize expenses.     Measure your inflow and control your outflow; don't chase profit, but let it follow your effort. 6.   Pricing is management.     Pricing is top management's responsibility: to find that one point where customers are happy and the company is most profitable. 7.   Success is determined by willpower.     Business management requires a persistent, "rock-piercing" will. 8.   Possess a fighting spirit.     Management requires a more combative mentality than any martial art. 9.   Face every challenge with courage.     Be fair and never deceive others. 10.   Always be creative in your work.     Innovate and improve continuously. Today should be better than yesterday; tomorrow, better than today. 11.   Be kind and sincere.     Business is based on partnerships and must bring happiness to all parties. 12.   Always be cheerful and positive; hold great dreams and hopes in the pureness of your heart.

What makes a good leader? What have people who have led you done that you admired? What qualities should more leaders possess? What are the most valuable qualities a leader should possess? What are the most basic qualities a leader should own? Most of us would agree that we need to respect a leader we would follow. Some leaders have feet of clay, but we might follow them anyway. What are the qualities that might disqualify someone from being a leader? This is my list of what I admire in a leader. Where do you agree or disagree? What would you add? The ability to learn from themselves and others, no matter the situation. A humbleness that is inspiring. Integrity, honesty and a strong moral compass Mental toughness and resilience under adversity. Capacity for love, compassion, sensitivity and understanding. Ability to breach the dichotomy between big vision and the smallest detail. Sincere respect for human dignity and genuine concern for others. Taking responsibility for themselves and their behavior. Inspiring words, actions and emotions that propel others to go beyond their preconceived limits. The ability to renew themselves and others through story, humor, perspective and reflection. Leaders know themselves. Leaders help themselves. Leaders use themselves as vehicles for good. Leaders embody what is good and right in the world. Leaders shine the light so others can come out of the darkness. "A leader is a dealer in hope." -- Napoleon

My grandfather has always been an enormous inspiration in my life simply because he wasn't hungry for artificial growth. His business was set up on what is taught today as a sustainable growth model and he stuck to his gut feeling.
