How can corrosion of metals cause damage to production and effect the financial position of an industry?

Corrosion of metals can cause damage to production because of those hazards present in it. It must avoided during the production because quality works results quality product. And the financial position of an industry will be degraded or decreased due to its effects.

i didn't study about the corrosion of metals cause damage to production and have no experience about it but i can explain the any kind of damage to production causing effect to financial position,

if damage stops the production then the sale and inventory should be effected which directly effect in financial position,

it can also effect the reputation of company if we delivered or produced damage work and it will effect on company reputation which indirectly effect the financial position of company,

This damage will also increase the cost of production and it will directly effect the financial positions.

 

The Gradual destruction of metals by chemical reaction with atmosphere is called "corrosion" .corrosion for engineers is a serious problem because the life of the industrial equipment is very much reduced due to corrosion.the loss due to corrosion varies from country to country, from industry to industry and from process to process.in Pakistan, due to its tropical climate the corrosion problem is more serious than in cold countries.corrosion is a BILLION DOLLAR THIEF.... according to recent assessment the loss due to corrosion in USA is more than billion dollar per year.roughly about1/4 th of the world production is wasted by it...Thanks for inviting me I hope you get the answer best of luck.

Corrosion is a disease for metals which damage the quality of metals. That's why, the metals used in industry must have resistant against corrosion.

Corrosion of metal can cause poor quality production. There is chances of increasing cost of production thus the profit margin can decrease.
