For a start do a ABC classification of inventory and then categorize into Moving/ Non Moving/ Slow Moving inventory.

 

Target for A class - Non moving inventory. Either use it up or prepare a liquidation plan to reduce the unnecessary inventory.

Historical baseline data cleaning will also bring the unhealthy inventory down which has no impact on customer service.
