2000m2 area for concrete flooring, how much steel of 6mm rod or 8mm rod is in this? How to calculate this problem?

formula is l*b*d (Assume depth as 0.15m)

Area=l*b=2000m2*depth=2000*0.15=300cu.m

Depending upon size of rods and spacing, steel should be calculated

Assume steel for slab is 90-120 kg/m3

Now for 300 m3 concrete, steel required is 300*120=36000/1000=36Tonnes
