There are many habits we picked up from other people closest to us such as colleagues , managers , friends even family …etc
So whatever the habit did you learn.
You may not have the knowledge.
You may not have the skills.
You may not have the connections.
But that doesn't matter.
What does matter is that you make the choice to start and learn or practice something new from others.
“Nothing can substitute experience. If you win, you will be happy. If you lose, you will be wise.”
The best habit I've adopted from another person is judicious patience to learn from experience. In other words, trying not to rush in to solve every problem as soon as I perceive it, but instead making myself wait to learn more, to consider options, to address others perspectives , see the world from different worldview and to see whether the problem might be able to solve itself, then intervene. I learned this from my dad whom was a managing director of one of the most famous engineering corporations in Alex. Although he was always too busy many businesses , even so having a speech with him was very rarely but It has proven to be incredibly valuable to listen to his reflection and consultation when I faced with any problem , he learned me either produces a new solution to the original problem or reveal the presence of a complementary problem such that the two problems may end up being one another's solutions.
I have learned from my Dad:
1. Be eager to learn, especially learn from mistakes.
“This world is changing fast, your knowledge will never be enough”, he said.
2. Persistence
He said -on behave of Bill Bradley: "Ambition is the path to success. Persistence is the vehicle you arrive in”
3. Opportunity should be created, not fortunate
Thanks to my dad's innovative way which gave me further exposed myself to many great opportunities in career and life.
I am still on my journey to my dream and I feel lucky to be equipped with lessons from my Dad. So you too can " Make it a habit to start. To learn, To take action. To dive in. Now."

This is one of the best questions. In my view we learn atleast one thing from one person if we deal with him as colleague, friend, superior, or other, forget about teachers, parents and family members we learn lot of things from them. We may consider one as enemy but still we learn something from him or her when we deal with them. It may be information, skills, work related knowledge, professionalism, ideas, lifestyles, health related matters, food habits information, security, survival skills and what not?

3. Writing poetry - from my religion teacher
4. Taking initiative - from my best friend in school
5. Helping others - from my best friend
6. Building communities - That one I came up with it on my own.

Good question Ma'am Ghada to elaborate people's ability.I like those people who have aim and goals in there lives and they struggle hard to achieve them so, I follow them...on the other hand I pick every thing good which I observe in people around me because learning is a process which never stops till death :)
