IF you need Advice i suggest

1-CCNA

2-MCSA

3-RHCSA

you will Start with CCNA to take the basics of Network you need it during your life

and then you can take MCSA to have more details about Server Administration when you finish this steps you should start your Career way, Professional life and study RHCSA ,when you are going in this way you can determine and take  your decision what is the next step .

This is a very good question.

For a good system administrator: MCSE + RHCE + CCNA

If you work in a windows environment: MCSE

For network technician: Network +

If you only work in Linux environment: RHCE.

My suggestion is (step by step):

1. MCP (only one exam)

2. RHCT

3. CCNA

4. MCSA

5. RHCE

5. MCSE

Please note that: MCSE requires 7 exams, RHCE requires 3 exams. If you pass one windows exam you'll become MCP. If you pass one linux exam you'll become RHCT

Hope you understand. Let me know if you want to know further.

The minimum System Admin Requirement  MCSE: &  CCNA Routing and Switching.

Also  VMware Certification and Citrix Certification is a advantage.

MCSE IS SURLY THE BEST CERTIFICATIONS ONE CAN HAVE AS A SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

In "MCSE": you know about administrating "Operating System" and "Top-Level Network Services". By "Top-Level Network Services Administration", I mean that you do not touch any network device. You work on a server that runs one or more of the network services (e.g. DHCP).

To have a hands-on work over network devices, you'll need to consider network vendors training (e.g. CISCO: CcNA, CCNP, ... / HP: HP Networking, ...)

Neither MCSE nor Network certificates will deal with "Server Administration" from "Hardware" perspective; as this differs from a vendor to another (e.g. HP Blades, IBM Power, .. etc.)

CCNA and CCNP is good for Network Administrator and MCSE is better for System Administration. If you want to cover Server hardware as well  then CompTIA server+ is good option for you.

MCSE Microsoft certification, here we learn the system windows administration. if your are going for network also, so you should be certified with Cisco CCNA or CCNP because you should have the knowledge of network routing protocols system.

If you are beginner start with MCSE that tell you about server 2012 how to be a network administrator after that you can take Server+

usually all we start with CCNA as associate then we take a decision as your mind will open
