Knowledge is a transferable skill and so it can be communicated to others. Example: A professor is teaching economics to the students – Here the knowledge of economics is transferable.
Wisdom is a unique, inherent and embedded character of a person and so it is not transferrable. A leader has his own wisdom and with his charismatic character, s/he can attract the people to follow him but his embedded/inherent wisdom is not transferable.

Thanks for the invitation. I don't agree with this statement. I believe wisdom can be communicated and taught. Wisdom is the ability to take the right decisions that brings the greatest benefits in different situation. It's not just about the knowledge but it's about the actions and reactions. If I hang out with a wise person and I see what he does in different situation, I learn from what he says and how he thinks and the process by which he acts and takes decisions, I can learn wisdom from him.

The answer is No.
Primarily what's wisdom? Philosophers have usually regard wisdom as the capacity to make the best use of knowledge, and in all cultures it has been personified, most familiarly in the art and poetry. The Greek offered to teach wisdom professionally and understood as immediately experienced intuition or intuitive apprehension. It is beyond conceptualization, the core of insight into emptiness which is true nature of reality. As such wisdom is equate with enlightenment, and is one of the signs of knowledge.
Mostly the debate about the relationship between knowledge and wisdom frequently sets the two opposition, but at the level of meaning there is no conflict.
A person can very knowledgeable but lack wisdom but if wise will be very knowledgeable.
Knowledge is something learned, wisdom is acquired by experience and while they are inextricably related, wisdom in some ways hold itself apart as Herman Hesse () noted: " knowledge can be communicated , but not wisdom"
Nevertheless wisdom and knowledge both acquire understanding and each related to intelligence but their value and their role almost differs.
I don't agree with above statement for one simple reason, one cannot be knowledgeable unless you are a good listener. Similarly one cannot be wiser without being a good listener.
People always tends to speak to good listener where the listener becomes more knowledgeable and the same way they would also like to listen to him through which they can also become knowledgeable. In both cases, the wiser the more you listen more.
In my point both knowledge and wisdom go hand in hand.

Knowledge is a information that someone transfer to you but wisdom is information that you have to understand by your self, in other words the words can not convey the message of wisdom. some great masters prepare situations for their students that by that condition they get the wisdom without talking about it.
In my own perspective, wisdom cannot be communicated because it's like an individual trait; it's either you have it or your don't. Wisdom is something that is innate to certain individual and even if it is believed to be learnable it would still require a lifetime to acquire it.
Knowledge can be transmitted or communicated because it is a mass volume of information and facts.
Wisdom could be taught too, if the person has the cognitive capabilities and knowledge to develop the inner self !

You know the average of the five people you surround yourself with, however what you do with that information is based on the amalgamation of that knowledge and the ability to use that knowledge. Hence I agree that wisdom is harder to pass on. You can however become wiser with age, experience, or a personality shift.

Wisdom comes from the word wise. Whenever we refer to wise persons what comes to your mind is that they are probably old people who have learnt through experience. Obviously experience comes with age, however knowledge can be acquired through study but may not make a person wise. Wisdom is how you implement the knowledge you have gained in applying it to day to day situations. Some of this wisdom is inborn but most of it is acquired over a period of time when a person has been through a number of varied situations in life.
