What method is used for isometric drawing dimensioning in autocad?

Use the DIMALIGNED tool to dimension features.

Use the Oblique option of the DIMEDIT tool to edit the obliquing angle of extension lines. Be sure to specify the correct isometric angle.

you can also put the dimension on the desired view or side, for that you have to change the view then make it top then put the dimension.
