The best activities that can be given to students to practice English involve interaction with other English speakers. I ask my students to spend at least 15 minutes per day speaking and/or listening to English. This can be done via the radio, television programs (especially the local news programs), and talking with a Native speaker. When speaking with someone, allow that person to give corrections on pronunciation and grammar, so that a more fluent production of the language can be acquired.

Choose the right topic: learners will be more motivated to participate in an activity which they are interested in and which relates to their lives or experience.

Allow learners to work together: they will get much more practice than when the teacher is asking questions to one learner at a time.

A teacher should analyse the level of understanding of English among the students. It enables the teacher to build a personalized work sheet for them to go one step further. This is the best way to progress with a good pace towards the right target.

To give the students the friendly environment in which they can communicate with each other and with teacher as well. They will discuss their day to   day experiences in their conversation. The students should encourage to think even in that language .Only then they can improve their speaking and writing skills. They should listen to native speakers so that they can pick the new vocabulary .

i think the listening exercises are really good and it can also show you how far you improved from an exam to another..
