When do you advise to use Raft Foundations?

we advice using raft for two main reasons :

1- if the sumetion of isolated footing area >60% from the buildingtotal area

2- if we discoverd that the type of soil may causing diffrential sittlement...because the raft is the best aidea to avoid diffrential sittlement
