It sounds challanging !

One can not see the content of  inhaler but can feel it's effect on inhaling. The sales person sells the inhaler highliting it's specification, virtual benefits and on how one would feel.

Similarly, specify about the air in the room and its benefits. One could say that the air in the room is highly pure with high level of oxygen content which is good for human metabolism and helps the brain and body to keep fresh. Please take a deep breath and see how you feel. Did you feel the difference?

Actually one should avoid over selling to restrict post sales problems and also avoid under selling to restrict loosing the sales opportunities !

What does air do for you?

Why do you need air in this room?

Does temperature make any difference for you?

How about oxygen levels?

How often do you need it?

How much?

What would happen if you would not have air in this room?

What else could you do if you had more air in this room?

To sale anything we do need to demonstrate it, but we cannot show him room air as, it can't be seen, we can just feel it.

selling room air, i find it impossible and sound very poor selling air in the room. Assuming that the air in the room was measure and one decide to sale the air in the something else will happen if people are inside and the room or any where. Air not only in the room is needed by every creature be it living in order to see life. This is because any living thing can not do without air for even a short period of time not to talk being inside the room.

For example if a room is selt completely and there is no for air passage then nothing can not live inside the room

Hi, I have sold air for a considerable time of my career. close to around8 years i have sold Air. But the question on board is a little bit tricky one. It is not air but airtime measured in Erlangs ( a complex log of log way of calulation to measure Airtime Consumption). Air time is measured in minutes of Usage and a definite rate is assigned to each minute( Pulse). Now, goinf by a linear equation of :

Revenue= Minutes of Usage ( Mins) X Rate X Customer base

airtime cacn be sold easily as fast moving consumer goods.

But now a days with steep increase  Data consumption and VOIP in place, airtime will gradually increase become irrelevant and Data consumption with replace it.

In the room we can install a BTS which will give coverage to all corners using correct hardware and thereby converting  the room filled with air in to Minutes. the inventory is in a self renewal mode , so only hardware maintenance will do the wonders for a Marketeer/ Manufacturer/Sales person to modify the product and prepare customized solution to the end user as per heir individual need.

Okay,  blow air into a balloon and sell it to the customer or you can give the customer a new balloon and ask him to blow it to full (if he prefers to do it on his own). This is the best you can do to sell air at room temperature with slight changes in the constituion of air.

If he is looking for cool air, then we can sell air-conditioners.

If he is looking for hot air, then we can sell heaters.

If he is looking for ordinary air, just as it is, give him an empty bottle with a lid on and inform him that the air is inside the bottle and he has to maintain it at the same temperature of ordinary air.
