Arabic grammar is more scientific than English grammar. What do you think?

Arabic language and English language are two rich languages in terms of grammatical structures and to distinguish between them we shall not be selfish but we have to be able to diffrenciate between them in amazing way,in fact English lgge has verbal sentences whereas Arabic lgge has both nominal and verbal sentences;the first i mean the nominal consists of two nouns :Topic\\Subject and Comment\\Predicate.To understand grammar you should first pick up sentence structures in English grammar and then have a general understanding of the types of words that make a sentence,any English sentence consists of three basis components or parts(S+V+O/C),Arabic ,on the other hand has different :types of sentences and there are four :1;VERBAL(v+s+o/c).2;NOMINAL(topic+comment) 3FUNCTIONNAL .4 NON-FUNCTIONAL.Thus both of  them have their own grammar and its aspects. their grrammatical structures are taken into consideration too.

Grammar of any language is based upon the principles that keep it organized for the speakers. As long as grammar of a language is fulfilling this objective, it's considered scientific.

Yes i agree with that because Arabic grammar is very rich and deep. It has so many branches and has its own equasions and under covered levels wich need to be understood carefully in order to cover them.

First of all grammar IS scientific. According to Richard K.Larson:

     "Syntax{which is a part of grammar} provides an excellent instrument for introducing students from a wide variety of backgrounds to the principles of scientific theorizing and scientific thought; it engages general intellectual themes present in all scientific theorizing as well as those arising specifically within the modern cognitive sciences."

 

With respect to your question, I think most of the answers you will get will be biased towards each one's language, so there won't be a final scientific answer!

Brother Ali, I do not know how to answer this question! And I do not know what do you mean by scientific.

Anyhow, I believe that grammar rules have come into implementation only after the language was spoken, and nobody made these rules before that. Grammarians had observed the language in action, and then derived their observations to make the so-called grammar rules. Such rules were based on the way how the people practiced the language in their communication.

Grammar rules are subject to change and development with the advance of the language. If such a change is done scientifically, it means all languages' grammars are scientific, regardless which language we are talking about.

I see English grammar more scientific than Arabic because we learn all subjects in Arabic from primary school to a university in Syria, so I find some difficulty in English grammar more than Arabic.

To me as an Arabic Language native speaker, and a learner of the English Language. it is true that Arabic Grammar is really more scientific than it is the case for the English Language. Arabic Language discipline is deep rooted in linguistics structure moreover the lexical structure of Arabic Language is more stronger than it is the case for the English. The number of borrowed words is less than that of English. the synchronic and diachronic growth of lexemes is stable and no too much change on the basic structure of the building of the words, even the pronunciation is still the same if there is any change it might be not that big noticeable change.

this question is a research topic which is productive and needs much searching and deep digging in the reference books.
