All PHP frameworks would suit, the difference between frameworks isn't that each framework is for a specific type of application.
I used Zend, Yii, Codeigniter. And all of them are good enough.
But you have to keep in mind that PHP is loosely coupled language, which means there is no data types in declaration variables.
