As a Project Manager, how do you encourage your team to stay up-to-date with all the professional developments in the field?

I will encourage them by saying that if you stay up-to-date you will increase your value at the organization and i will allow them to get seminar and cources to increase there abilities.

1. By making sure that the team members are updating their certifications.

2. Encourage the team members to attend seminars or webinars. If possible, sponsor some of the key members registrations to events.

3. Have a library (online or in the company) for accessing current developments, journals.

with doing always research and workshops and always do the follow up the most important thing and share informations,results of experience with everyone interested.Stay tuned on every single idea,creation,software,technics...it is a work in itself.

Site Manager has the powers in the Working Group and reward him these powers can delay some of them to address some of the developments as well as some workers can change positions simple changes to maintain the vitality and sustainability of staff competition

Many organizations arrange professional development courses. First of all Project Manager should be informed about the detail of when and where such courses are going to conducted.

After assessment of staff and future projects, he should allow relevant and progressive subordinates for these courses. 

By updating myself,then it will be easy to encourage my team just sharing my views. 

I will arrange live trainings & seminar on the latest trends in industry

I will made groups on different communication medium and send them links about new technologies and share my own ideas and gave them chance to discuss their ideas as well, will be stay connected with them all the time, encourage them To share their ideas freely.

As project manager I will encourage them through creating skill development programs and training and motivation about work and Welfare

Asked the employees follow the company's website to see the latest developments in the field of labor developments , where it is increasing the salaries of employees depending on the number of experiences and developments acquired

Seek an individual within the team with a personal interest in keeping at the forefront of professional development. Ring fence a couple of hours per week for web research to ID3 key articles from trusted professional publications. These are shared amongst the team with a weekly 'pop' quiz and/or structured discussion within team meetings/scrum downs/tool box talks. Supplemented by membership of professional bodies and the identification and subscription of useful Smart phone apps to keep abreast of industry and professional developments.
