Management in general is an art and science. In such situation,"managing a big company", is still a management progress having more duties, more responsibilities and more risks (due to the size of the company).

Therefore you should have enough knowledge about the company progresses and activities, policies, strategies and plans, and involved people.

As long as you have the right tools and people, and you do have the managerial experience, your role should go smoothly !

Appreciate your invitation ,

Well , if i am not wrong you are talking on new position as 'Manager'

First of all you need to set with departments mangers and discuss with them what kind of procedures they follow.

then gather sales supervisors if your organization selling products and services and ask them about (Targeted Market , Your Targeted Customers , Your Product\\s availability & visibility ,  Customer Satisfaction, Competitors)  do the same with Marketing team and ask them about followed marketing plan and its procedures.

After you got a clear and enough idea about (Plans & Procedures) , you need to put your view for the coming days and align it with your company plan, and do not forget to follow the next steps (if you are new manager) :

  • Supervise the plan implementing for first three months by yourself. be on the field with SR's in the market (check , direct , give your orders).
  • Do not assign a specific desk or office for you and set inside departments with your employees to monitor the daily process.
  • Check the primary achievements for first three months and depend it or do some modifications

Good Luck
