High work pressure for continuous period of time will drain your energy to a lowest level and you will be exhausted. On further negative site, you will lose your analytical thinking capability and creativity.

On Eating: When exhausted, you will have minimum energy; you will eat less which will result in further loss of energy and appetite for food. If you are a smoker, you might increase in smoking and there is every chance that you would be inclined to alcoholism.

On Hobbies: Since you are exhausted and less time, you will reduce you hobbies to a minimum, which will further reduce your creativity

On Friends: Since you are exhausted and working for extra time, you will be socializing less with your friends, your brain will not be relaxed and this will further reduce your analytical thinking

On home/family life: Since you do not have work/ life balance, you will have less family relationship which may affect you and your family in the long run.

Solution: Delegate the repetitive jobs to your subordinates, work in groups to achieve more, work smartly without distractions, organized yourself thoroughly and work with a clear focus so that you can finish the job on time and go home on time.

by training u can make some control to less from this bad effect

Sincerely, and since I love what I do professionally, doesn't make me feel stressed or with any feeling that I´m loosing something else more in my life.Of course I´m not saying that I don't have my moments where I wish that everything could roll perfectly, but since I know that any reality is not like that, I just do my best to adapt me and at the circumstances for the daily needs.

And since we have "chosen" this kind of life, earn money to live ( should be opposite),  I have the opinion that we need to achieve some balance in our personal life; trying to avoid to have those mind and physical states of tiredness, stress or depressions!

What I do...well,  some hobbies like photography and some sport, travel always when I have free time, join some friends groups to share life, participate in forums and share experiences (like this one), dedicate some hours to read and be in silence, develop my knowledge in foreign languages (yes, I´m trying to learn Arabic!), try to not spend my free time in virtual world and dedicate that time to communicate with people in the real world...etc etc.....

How you handle stressful situations at work can significantly affect your professional success, which is one of the reasons this topic is often raised in job interviews. Consider possible stressful circumstances ahead of time and select ways you can effectively handle the stress and still be productive at work. Handling high-pressure work environments with grace, calm and confidence will serve you well in virtually any profession.

Step 1

Prepare for potentially stressful situations or projects at work. Think about how you could react to stress in the office in ways that minimize its impact. Part of preparing is to plan ahead. If you know there's a huge project due late next week, it's safe to assume there will be some long days, missed lunch breaks and increased pressure. In the days leading up to deadlines, get plenty of rest, keep healthy snacks on hand and make sure you have all the information and materials you need to complete the project.

Step 2

Stay organized, focused and on-task. Make an outline of a big project and break it down into manageable tasks. Keep a running "to-do" list so you don't overlook any of the things you need to do. Prioritize your list each day so you use your time effectively by focusing on the most important things. Don't allow yourself to be distracted by unimportant or unnecessary interruptions.

Step 3

Take short breaks to de-stress whenever you can. Take a short walk outside, listen to music or do some stretching exercises at your desk. Frequent water breaks are useful to keep you hydrated; healthy snack breaks also are beneficial. Take deep, controlled breaths when you feel yourself tensing up under pressure. These help you relax and re-focus.

Step 4

Be flexible. Even in the best-planned circumstances, pressures beyond your control can arise. Don't let them throw you off your game. Instead, quickly evaluate the new factors, determine how you can adapt to accommodate them and press ahead. Don't dwell on the things you can't control -- they're a fact of life in most work settings, and you can't let them derail your focus or your progress.
