As an English history teacher, what can you do to raise the level of art appreciation among your students?

most of students find history classes are very boring, try interactive classes divide your students into groups, each consist of four or five students, ask them to select and perform a show from history topics. Assist them with team work and drama concept. ask them to present the historical characters and figures from their point of view. 

- take your students in a tour to historical places they study, or to museums   

Use of Audio visual equipment to watch selected documentaries about some great Architectural art icons is helpful to create awareness about history of arts among the students. Arranging a visit of at least one of such sites can pop up their inner keenness in arts and its history. They will love to learn about evolution in arts step by step.

As an English history teacher I will raise the level of art appreciation among my students by researching my students native countries and cultures then I will show them artworks specifically for each country. This way it will not be boring and each and everyone will be excited to learn about different arts from different nations.

By guiding them to the art or the media room avialble in the school to show them some samples of the most famous attractve artworks and get thier interest in having something similar. Then I give them my advice to produce thier own art works.

I will facilitate the organization of art exhibitions and teach them on how Art is a way by which a connection is established between those who lived in the past, the present and the generations to come. They must appreciate how Art is a powerful media through which Hustory is preserved, cherished, nurtured and passed on.

As an art teacher, i would start talking with my students about the history of art in our country, which will incourage them to keep learning about art. This will open the doors for them to experience several kinds of arts and crafts, which will raise the level of appreciation for such major.

I will bring them to a tour museum and to some art historical places, i will make myself more knowledgeable and put my heart in to it because if you yourself don't have interest or passion in what you're doing, how can you teach or share to others ??
