Candidly, you won't go wrong with PHP, Javascript, jQuery.

I pretty much use DRUPAL for all my new projects which is based on PHP / Javascript / jQuery

As a Junior First of all get a hold of what is oops in programming. Then Go for a language which you are interested in . I would say so for .net and learn web development MVC is a great web development.

1 If you have mathematics ground, go for C,C++, Java

2 If you are interested in web development side, go for ASP.Net, PHP.

3 Database side, go for SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL

combination of all are very useful as programming concepts are mostly same if you are good in logic development, you need learn new syntax's according to the programming language you are choosing.

My2 cents. Thanks.

Python is now very important, you cannot guess ow much the salary will be for Python programmer.

Also there is new programming language from google called go the expect it will have a place in future.

Hi,

I personally feel that there is nothing like a basic programming language to be known, to find a job in an International Market because it totally depends upon the Scope or the Trend of the Programming Language people are using. It also depends upon the software's cost and productivity a company can afford.

As of Now, Dot Net , Java , JavaScript Frameworks Like Angular JS,  SQL Databases are Trending Mainstream Software in the Market which can change in any point of time.

And above all, you need the capability and caliber to adapt any Programming Language and a Good Health of Logic to work in a Software based career.

ASP.NET is the most desirable server side programming language and that is because it helps programmers to write more secure programs.

Python is also needed in the market, specially for open source systems.

For the client side, companies ask for knowledge about different modern JavaScript frameworks.

Yeah .NET Framework is best, most of the new companies requires .NET Technologies now a days. You must learn C#.NET, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, and SQL for backend development.
