What is the advantage/disadvantage of the on the job training ?

On the job training is one of the extreme factor to learn and understand the organisational tools, employees, their behavior and most importantly you understand the work that you are hired for.

Now disadvantages can be categorized on person to person basis, their behavior, their attitude and the way they look for the opportunity that is being given to them to build their career.

According to me, if the training is on the job then the job objectives are crystal clear and helps employees to learn faster and it gives an opportunity to the employees to adapt to the environment
