How important is "experience" in administrative and managerial positions? If you have the skill and everything else the job requires?

Experience is always important.  It doesn't matter how many books you've read on swimming, or how long you've spend studying surf rescue videos, nobody's going to give you a job as a lifeguard if you've never actually been swimming.

Experience is not the most important thing in the job requirements.

I think the creativity  and innovation are the most important things in job requirements more than the experience. Probably you have a good experience in a specific field, but this one means the past, your history, I mean it will help you in dealing with issues, affairs  or problems if you faced such before, there is no experience without failure period. While the creativity and innovation led you to find a new Idea, to be dynamic, to reach the limits and break it through, to teach you how to think link and never sink finally to be number one in your major.

Experience is limited, you cannot change your ideas if you keep struggling with your old experience. The world is changing and developing every day, but without change there is no innovation, creativity, or incentive for improvement. Those who initiate change will have a better opportunity to manage the change that is inevitable. 

most important thing is experience, with experience you can solve and give worth full out put to your organization.  

It can easily for you to adapt the nature of your work.And the more you know the work the fastest you can.

Experience is required in Administrative and Managerial positions because it can help you run the department smoothly and systematically.  Experience will teach you what to avoid and what processes or procedures are needed to be done for a quicker output.  Experience will help you avoid a trial and error decision. 

Experience is a very important aspect as it gives the global perspective as well as realistic goals.

Experience it is a tools and define how he can improve and develop with planing idea in the org.

 

 

Experience is aways an positive attribute, however no candidate has experience from day one and everyone starts without experience. A candidate without experience can still be as good if not even better as he/she is coming in with a clean slate without any 'pre-expectations' and will be better in adapting. In the end of the day its all about the attitude and capability in doing the job. 

Experience is the main factor that will make the individual work much easier than a fresh one, plus with the experience teach many things that education doesnt

Experience Means More situations ,more handling complaints ,more problems ,more solutions more communication ,more contacts ,more joy ,,finally more excitement 

Having skills the job requires not equals solving the real problems in work.

Experience is very important because it means we had met the real case in the jobs and we know how to handle different cases and solve the problems or challenge quickly and effectively.
