Even if you dedicate yourself, you cannot escape Errors & exceptions which are built into all Programming languages!
Even the highly experienced Programmer faces complex Logical Errors, Runtime Errors & Exceptions & fixing them improves the quality of Software!
Programming is also Team work, not a one man show! even the biggest Software has lots of bugs, Windows for example has a security update almost everyday, Internet Explorer can crash with simple JavaScript with an infinite loop! ...

Programming Languages always change, think of it this way, as long as Hardware advances, Software needs to catch up, then Programmers need to stay tuned!
To become an expert Programmer, however, try to write a Compiler and a Programming language of your own!
Knowledge of the subject, dedication, efficiency perseverance and practice, I think, make someone a SUPER PROGRAMMER.
