i do know what it takes to be a good leader. i also know that i always try to practice the things a leader should have f.g. listen to my team members, listen to their problems, try to keep every one on board and focus. but am a leader or a manager? well you are not a manager if you are not a good leader. i always try to be a good leader and someday it might make me a manager, you know, officially.

I am most definitely a leader

Manager is a terminology that can be defined whereas a leader is never termed, it comes from the innerself within. A person with small position in an organisation can bear leadership qualities and so everyone out there admires his quality but a manager can be cursed as well as praised at times if he is also a leader.

Manager would be better for company, manager have experience and knowledge both and he know how could handle the situation.
That person have vision and he have goal for company and he could read the situation early.
Professional manager have experience manage the management and build up this team and that would be better for organization.
A manager most of the time listen and understand the other person opinion and allow his subordinates to participate and appreciate views of others.
He could do develop himself and development for the organization.
Because of that company want experience and knowledge manager and a person who is can fluent in the art of communicating with employees and top management.
Because of that manager is important for build a successful business team.
So this person is progressing with the organization one step forward.
That's why i would go for manager more then leader.

In my opinion , managers are trying to reach goals regardless of the used approach and they cannot by considered as role model to their employees ,  they just apply polices and roles using their work experience  .

Leaders always have the first step , they are role models , and have determination to reach organisation goals

I am an innate leader. I thrive in high-pace dynamic environments. My single most important focus in any role has been to enable my entire team to succeed. I make sure that others have the tools, resources, and understanding on how to maximize opportunities and get the most out of every engagement or project. I've had leadership roles where I was challenged to lead large organizations, both by example and hard work. I have an understanding of portfolio strategy and execution, my passion is around organizational culture transformation of highly effective teams. I would love to do this in the UAE and take my experience working in Silicon Valley enterprise organizations and translate that into a different market.
