cma is for Managerial Accountant and cfa is for financial accountant

Depends on what career path you would want to purse if its managment accounting, which is to do with dad to day operations and all sorts of costings then CMA is your best opportunity, if you would like to get into issues like how to finance your firms projects or future operations ,and to take meaures against intreat implications then CFA is your best choice (especially if your hoping to land a banking job). in genreal both exams are great. either way its a win win.

I believe based on the current market situation, CFA is a good option for freshers, however one should consider his worth after3 to5 years fro now before going for it.
