The correct term for this is "Unpresented Cheques"

 

The word unpresented means, that these cheques have yet not been presented to the bank. Some people also use words such as Cheques drawn yet not presented to mean the same thing.

 

Usually when you carry out a bank reconciliation, they needed to be deducted to balance as per the bank statement or added back to the balance as per the cash book ledger.
